Arctander Clam Chair
Fashioned in the shape of a happy open clam, the much-loved whimsical seating was designed in 1944 by Philip Arctander, a Danish architect and designer. With its signature mollusk-inspired build and fine sheepskin upholstery, the Arctander Clam Chair effortlessly impresses and inspires. Maggie Kayne, a chic Los Angeles gallerist quips, “They’re beautiful objects that are super comfortable. It’s not easy to find both.”
